<p>Richard Young Gallery and London College of Fashion are proud to announce Capsule#2; an exhibition of work by forthcoming 2010 graduates from BA (Hons) Fashion Photography.</p>
<p>Richard Young, the UK’s most successful celebrity photographer, has chosen to collaborate with London College of Fashion for the second year in a row to support emerging photography talent from final year BA (Hons) Fashion Photography and offer them a showcase in his centrally located Kensington gallery space.</p>
<p>Richard Young said, “I am thrilled to be working with London College of Fashion for the second year running. It is vital that I continue to support emerging talent in the hope that the next generation can follow in my footsteps and launch their own successful careers.”</p>
<p>Capsule#2 will showcase 56 works by 56 graduateswho are the rising stars of the fashion photography world. Once again, Nikon are generously supporting the award for the graduate who displays the most creative potential. The judging panel tasked with finding a winner this year are: Penny Martin, Professor of Fashion Imagery at LCF and Editor in Chief of The Gentlewoman, Simon Coleman from Nikon and Richard Young.  The winner will receive the latest Nikon D700 camera.</p>
<p>The work on display will reflect the huge range of image making to emerge from BA (Hons) Fashion Photography – a course that provides a unique experience unmatched around the world to help students develop their own authentic signature style.</p>
<p>Course Director Edward Barber said, “We’re delighted to be working with Richard again this year. We’re very grateful for his continuing support and for giving our students the opportunity to show in such a prestigious photographic venue that reinforces the importance of our graduates within the creative industries.”</p>
<p>A 64 page full‐colour catalogue supported by printers Chapter Press and design consultants Sampson May has been created to accompany the exhibition and will be available to buy at the Richard Young Gallery throughout the run. Also available to buy will be the prints themselves giving the public a rare opportunity to pick up work by the Mario Testino’s and the Annie Leibovitz’s of the future.</p>
